We have just obtained a number of Disney Dollars. These pieces were purchased and placed in plastic sleeves. They are all in like new excellent condition. Any items that vary from that description will be noted.
This sale is for 2 Disney Dollars from 2009 featuring Mickey Mouse and Pluto. These are D series 1.00 Disney Dollars with the serial numbers of D00478289 and D00062226.Also included is one Currency With Character original Dollar Envelope ( back flap ripped ). Some of the pictures in the plastic sleeves are showing light reflections and areas on or in the sleeve. Check the pictures out of the sleeve for actual condition. You can pay lots more for a graded bill because someone paid a lot more to have it graded.

The 2009 Disney Dollar was a special edition of the official, park-accepted scrip featuring a \"Celebrate Today\" theme tied to the company\'s \"What Will You Celebrate?\" promotion.  Overview of the 2009 Series

• Theme: \"Celebrate Today!\" / \"What Will You Celebrate?\" 

• Design Highlights:
  • Front features Mickey Mouse and Pluto celebrating with cake and balloons.
  • Back showcases Cinderella\'s Castle emerging through clouds with Mickey balloons.
  • Treasury seal replaced by Mickey-shaped balloons and authorized by Scrooge McDuck. 

• Issuing Blocks/Locations: Available as Block A (Disneyland), Block D (Walt Disney World), and Block T (Disney Store). 

• Denominations Issued: $1 (Mickey & Pluto), $5 (Minnie & Daisy), and $10 (Celebration Party).   Collector Value and Status
  • Original Use: Traded at 1:1 value with US currency at Disney parks and stores.
  • Current Market Value: Ungraded or circulated bills sell for around $30 to $50, while professionally graded (PMG/PCGS) uncirculated pieces range from $75 to over $350 depending on the grade and block.
  • Redemption: Disney officially discontinued producing new notes in 2014, but authentic legacy Disney Dollars are still honored as valid currency at domestic Disney parks and resorts.
