- Pokemon Home does not support held items.
- Some Pokemon forms cannot be transferred, including fused forms.
- Some Pokémon from gen 1-7 will feature an exclamation point when you try to transfer them to Sword and Shield. This is because the move set hasn’t been added to Gen 8 yet. You will have to teach the Pokémon a new move within Sword and Shield.
- Only Pokemon that have been added to Sword and Shield can be used in those games.

If you’re buying a collection that includes Gen 8 Pokemon (Sword/Shield), I’ll need to log into your Nintendo account momentarily to do the transfer. If you’re buying a Gen 1-7 collection, all I’ll need is a move code from Pokemon Home.
