Square Enix's popular coupling with the Disney universe continues as 3DS gamers get their first crack at guiding series protagonists Sora and Riku through seven dream worlds on a quest to become Keyblade Masters in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. Five of the dream worlds are based on Disney franchises, including Fantasia, Pinocchio, and Tron: Legacy, and all of the worlds are inhabited by Dream Eaters: strange creatures split into good "Spirits" and bad "Nightmares," in keeping with the dualistic nature of the series.
As always, classic Disney characters such as Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy interact with gamers during their adventures, but for the first time in the series, characters from the Square side of the equation are taken not from the Final Fantasy franchise, but from the modern DS RPG The World Ends With You. Players rotate between the two main characters as they navigate the game worlds, automatically switching characters when their "Drop Gauge" is depleted, and recruiting nightmare-eating Spirits to gain new abilities, attacks, and co-op moves. The 3D action finds gamers engaging in fast-paced combat, using the touch screen to execute special moves, and taking on large bosses in order to unlock the keyholes in each level.
The "Mark of Mastery Edition" features a magnetic box and includes a clear hard case skin cover, 12 art cards, five augmented reality (AR) cards, and an AR card that acts as a viewing stand for admiring the characters on the other AR cards from all angles.
KINGDOM HEARTS:RE CODED
As the digital version of Sora, players can initiate and execute more than 100 different commands with a single button press. While the default perspective is a third-person view positioned behind the lead protagonist, the game employs a variety of action sequences, from side-scrolling boss battles to 3D shooting stages. A new progression system has Sora acquiring computer chips to augment his powers and abilities. Players can also create their own avatar and even dungeons by collecting various components from each world. They can then exchange various floor maps and avatars with friends via wireless connection.KINGDOM HEARTS: 368/2 DAYS (Nintendo DS, 2009)

Making its debut on the Nintendo DS system, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days introduces players to a thrilling new story line in the Hearts universe, featuring many of the same Disney and Final Fantasy characters from previous versions. In this fifth game of the series, you play as Roxas and join his friend Axel and Xion, the mysterious 14th member of Organization XIII, on a journey across vibrant, anime-based worlds. The plot of Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, which had a release date in 2009, is completely original and follows the adventures of Roxas and Xion with many new challenges. Gamers who have not played any of the previous Kingdom Hearts video games as well as longtime fans will get hours of fun out of this DS game as the character development provided by introducing Xion takes Kingdom Hearts in a new direction. The same elements that make the whole series so captivating can be found in this game, and after a hard day of fighting battles, you can visit a Moogle shop and recharge.Due to the wireless and dual-screen capabilities of the portable console, this game offers a multiplayer mode where you connect with up to four other systems to control any Organization XIII characters, with their unique skills and weapons, and take on a variety of missions in both cooperative and competitive battles. Secret characters like Riku and King Mickey can be unlocked during multiplayer gaming as well. Single-player mode in this version of Kingdom Hearts uses a mechanic known as the panel system, which allows the player to customize their character's levels, items, equipment, and abilities. The game also features Limit Breaks that recharge a character for a brief period when their health is low.To play to the advantages that a portable console like the Nintendo DS provides, this game offers players a new action RPG combat system. The navigation system of this video game is new as well. Nintendo's portable cartridges are generally region free, so this game will work in the United Kingdom and other English-speaking areas.Throughout Kingdom Hearts, which is rated E for Everyone, Roxas must fight his way through numerous areas inspired by the Final Fantasy video games as well as a number of Disney properties, such as Agrabah from Aladdin and Never Land from Peter Pan. Players will have plenty to deal with in 358/2 Days. Because he is one of the Nobodies, Roxas does not actually have his own memories, and Xemnas wants to absorb him and become a strangely coded reincarnation of Sora from Kingdom Hearts II. Throughout the game, Roxas learn about his past and the intricacies of Organization XIII.Your task is to help Roxas and ensure he gets through each day. Every mission gets progressively harder, but completing each mission with a high rating gets you a valuable reward. Animators worked on high-quality cut scenes that play whenever you complete objectives and mini-games.KINGDOM HEARTS: BIRTH BY SLEEP (For the Sony PSP, 2010)
"Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep" is an action RPG developed by Square Enix exclusively for the PSP. Birth by Sleep is the sixth title in the Kingdom Hearts series and the first Kingdom Hearts game to appear on the PSP. Like other Kingdom Hearts games, it includes many Disney characters; although, there is a mix that includes other Square Enix characters like those inFinal Fantasy. The game centers around three protagonists who must locate the missing Master Xehanort and defeat the evil Unversed by proceeding through a series of worlds based on Disney properties. Each character in the game is armed with a magical Keyblade, which enables them to defeat the Unversed in battle as well as unlock doors between the kingdoms.Birth by Sleep serves as a prequel to the original Kingdom Hearts game. The story focuses on Terra, Aqua, and Ventus, who must seek to stop the evil Vanitas. Vanitas was trained by the same master as the trio but felt betrayed by his master and allowed the darkness in his heart to control him, releasing the Unversed into the world. Terra, Aqua, and Ventus are sent on a quest by Master Eraqus to pursue their new enemy and undo the damage he has done. Along the way, they meet characters from other Kingdom Hearts games, such as Sora, Riku, and Kairi, further extending their backstory.Over the course of the story in Birth by Sleep, Terra, Aqua, and Ventus explore a vast number of worlds such as the Dwarf Woodlands, the Enchanted Dominion, the Castle of Dreams, the Olympus Arena, and Neverland. There is also a hub world and command map unique to this game. Each region within "Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep" has unique enemies to fight and offers unique skills to gain. King Mickey and his subjects, including Donald Duck and Goofy, also make appearances like in other Kingdom Hearts titles.Birth by Sleep is unique among the Kingdom Hearts games in that it dispenses with MP and enables players to use magic through a new Focus system. Any ordinary command or attack does not require Focus, which builds up as the player attacks enemies and defends against them. Once enough Focus is gathered, a Terra, Aqua, or Ventus can enter Shotlock mode, which allows them to deliver magical attacks from their Keyblade to a target in the first-person mode. Players can mix their attacks for increased combo damage and gain new commands using D-Link, which enables heroes in the game to give the player new special moves for their Keyblade based on their abilities. Terra, Aqua, and Ventus also have their own unique abilities. The designers at Square Enix made have sure that "Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep" uses all of the graphical power available on the PSP. The graphics within the game are crisp and in high resolution. "Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep" is a beautiful adventure RPG that offers hours of play with a deep story and engaging cast. This makes the video game a must-have for any PSP owner.
